Commissioners Court is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Sept. 24 in the Commissioners Courtroom at 100 Main Plaza in New Braunfels. The notice allows comments on public-interest matters or specific agenda items and limits each speaker to three minutes; it also says the court's ability to respond is limited.
Five patrol SUVs and departmental transfers
Action 13 proposes using $70,000 in forfeiture funds and $240,000 in federal asset-sharing funds for three patrol SUVs. Action 14 proposes transferring $206,000 from hourly-personnel funding for two additional patrol SUVs.
