Twenty-four percent of Texas school districts and campuses improved their state rating from 2025, and 585 campuses rose from below an A to an A, the Texas Education Agency reported Friday.

The newly released 2026 results cover 1,202 districts and 9,105 campuses. For Comal County families, they create a fresh benchmark for checking whether local schools gained ground, lost ground or held their rating.
