The court approved the developer agreement concerning road and stormwater-drainage improvements at Park Village Subdivision Unit 7 and authorized the county judge to sign it. The Sept. 17 agenda had listed the agreement for consideration.
The $10,815 deposit gives Comal County a financial guarantee tied to 3,960 feet of county-grade asphalt road and related drainage work. The agreement also covers drainage structures, guardrails, signs and other improvements required under county subdivision rules.
The posted agreement shows $10,815, not $610,815. Comal.News’ Sept. 11 meeting preview used the larger number; this report corrects that figure.
The agreement places the $10,815 under its terms for cash deposits of $50,000 or less: no interest is payable to the developer, and Comal County retains any interest that accrues.
The Date Conflict
The agreement requires written County Engineer approval or an extension request by its listed checkpoint, but that checkpoint is dated Aug. 18, 2026—30 days before the Sept. 17 agreement date.
